BALL Parents,

John Felton, the County Health Officer,  has approved the Little League District 1 Safety Plan which means that we will be able to begin our baseball and softball seasons.  The safety plan is designed to significantly reduce the risk of spreading the Covid-19 Virus for our players and parents.  Once we begin the practice schedule, it is critical that we as a league follow the safety plan in order to continue the privilege of providing baseball to our youth.  It is equally as important for the parents and people off the field to practice social distancing and abide by the guidelines within the safety plan.  If you are concerned about your child contracting the virus or spreading it to other “at-risk” family members or friends, we recommend that your child not play this year.  By allowing your child to participate, you are assuming the risk of contracting the virus as it is not feasible to completely eliminate the risk of your child contracting the virus.  The District 1 Little League Safety Plan is attached for your review.

We are offering refunds for players that are currently registered that decide not to participate.  Requests for refunds will be honored if you notify our league via email([email protected]) by 5:00 P.M. on Friday 5/8/2020.  Refunds will not be honored after that date. Since we have already purchased uniforms,  we are able to refund the registration fee less the uniform cost. 

9/10 & 11/12 Majors baseball and softball will begin practices on 5/11/2020 with games intending to begin on 6/1/2020-7/17/2020 with a TOC through 7/25/2020. Teams my be modified depending on the number of players that decide not to participate so a coach or manager will contact you by 5/10/2020 if changes effect your child.

Juniors & Seniors baseball will begin practices the week of 5/11/2020.  Final player numbers and team designation may require the practices to start later in the week.  Games are intending to begin 6/1/2020-7/17/2020 with a TOC through 7/25/2020. Teams are being formed over the next week so you will be hearing from a manager/coach by 5/11/2020.

Minors practices will start the week of 5/11/2020. T-Ball and  Coach Pitch: Practices are to begin 5/26/2020.  Games will be 6/1/2020-7/3/2020.  Teams will be formed over the next 2 weeks so you will be hearing from a Manager/Coach by 5/18/2020.
